Simon Scott is to join JLL to head its residential investment team.
Scott previously led the residential investment team at Savills before taking on the role of investment director at Watkin Jones & Son.
Since 2013 he has held the role of chief development officer at SACO, the serviced apartment platform backed by Oaktree Capital.
Scott said: “The institutional market is increasingly recognising a place for residential in diversified portfolio strategy and I am sure we can continue to lead in the innovation of the sector in the UK, and play a significant part in the evolution of private rented communities in the UK housing market.”
