In one of the biggest prelets in Yorkshire for several years, Scottish Courage, the UK beer division of Scottish & Newcastle, has taken a 25,630 sq m (275,870 sq ft) distribution unit at Amec Developments’ Wakefield Europort.
The company will take the space on a 15-year lease at a rent of around £4 per sq ft.
The 142ha Europort is located at junction 31 of the M62. Existing occupiers on the park include ASDA, Wickes, The Post Office and M&S Toiletries.
Scottish Courage’s unit is due for completion in March 2002.
