Scottish shopping centres put up for sale


Two shopping centres in Scotland have come to market.


LaSalle Investment Management is selling its Cumbernauld shopping centre in North Lanarkshire for £16.4m – a 9% initial yield.


The 140,000 sq ft shopping centre is let to tenants including Home Bargains, Poundland, Superdrug, Peacocks and New Look.


BAE Systems Pensions has brought St Johns shopping centre in Perth to the market for £30m – an 8% yield.


Tenants at the 249,750 sq ft shopping centre include Primark, River Island, Card Factory and Waterstones.


Savills is advising LIM; Kitchen LaFrenais Morgan is advising BAE Systems Pensions.
