Scottish Widows has paid Castelmore Securities £46m for the Valley Park retail scheme in Croydon.
The retail park is leased to seven of the strongest covenants in the country including Sears, Boots and McDonalds. The deal confirms retail parks as the property growth area.
- Meanwhile, Marks & Spencer last week exercised its option to buy the Gyles shopping centre in Edinburgh for £122m. M&S snatched the mall away from the USS pension fund which won the original tender.
