SEAT is to relocate its dealership in Stoke-on-Trent to a flagship site on St Modwen’s Trentham Lakes development in Staffordshire.
Barlow Motors has acquired a 0.75 acre site at the gateway to the development to house its Stoke dealership. The dealership will be relocating from its existing premises on Lonsdale Street in Stoke-on-Trent to purpose built new premises opposite the Britannia Stadium.
The 7,600 sq ft bespoke building will comprise a double story glass fronted showroom, plus offices.
SEAT joins existing tenants Audi, Toyota, Ford and Volkswagen at the business park which has become a popular retail hub for the motor trade.
Planning Permission is already in place and construction is expected to start in October this year with completion scheduled for spring 2011.
The 400 acre Trentham Lakes mixed-use development is being developed by Stoke on Trent Regeneration, a joint venture between St. Modwen and Stoke on Trent City Council. Over 50 companies are currently based there.
