Countryside and Home Group have been granted consent for the second phase of their £172m redevelopment project in South Oxhey, Hertfordshire.
Three Rivers District Council has permitted 174 new homes, 7,500 sq ft of retail space and a new market place.
Development on these elements will being in April next year.
The South Oxhey development will regenerate an 11-acre site, providing 514 new homes, a market square, more than 55,000 sq ft of retail space – including a Lidl store, improvements to the approach to Carpenders Park rail station and new public spaces.
Delivered over three phases, the whole project is expected to complete in 2022.
