Six agents have been chosen to sit on a committee advising on some of the UK’s biggest regeneration projects.
They will advise the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA), which is responsible for the largest area of all regional development agencies.
The committee will comprise FPDSavills, Harrisons, Hellier Langston, King Sturge, Cluttons and Vail Williams.
The firms are expected to work on planning applications, advise on development opportunities and advise SEEDA’s potential development partners, all at agreed rates.
However, the selected firms may still have to tender against each other for individual
projects.
A strategic property advice and valuation panel has also been finalised as part of the tender process, with Drivers Jonas, GVA Grimley, CB Richard Ellis and Donaldsons all winning appointments.
The government agency has an extensive land and property function that is focused on bringing brownfield sites and premises back into productive use.
SEEDA’s remit includes the major growth centres of Thames Gateway, Ashford and Milton Keynes.
