SEGRO adds Slough site in £120m deal

SEGRO has bought up another slice of Slough, buying Bath Road Shopping Park for £120m.

The site, which was sold by Royal London Asset Management, is strategically located next to the Slough Trading Estate and covers approximately 11.4 acres.

SEGRO said it was planning to redevelop the site, which includes 10 retail warehouse units, roughly one-third of which are currently vacant. The remaining leases expire between 2023 and 2028.

It added that there was the potential to redevelop the site into “modern warehousing suited to a variety of users, including data centres”.

SEGRO was represented by Knight Frank and CMS; CBRE and GunnerCooke advised Royal London.
