SEGRO hires Greater London director from Savills

SEGRO has appointed Bonnie Minshull as a director, focusing on targeting new business in the north, east and south of London.

Minshull, who will sit within the Greater London team, will also seek to enhance the industrial giant’s development pipeline in those areas.

She joins SEGRO from Savills, where she was a director within the national industrial and logistics team, responsible for negotiating acquisitions and disposals, providing development consultancy advice and business generation.

Prior to Savills, Minshull held positions at DTZ and King Sturge.

Separately, SEGRO has promoted Patrick Batten to director in the city logistics team.

Batten joined SEGRO in 2012 and has held several positions across asset management, investment and development in the southern Europe and Greater London markets.

He will focus on growth within the inner London markets, where land and development opportunities are particularly competitive, and expanding SEGRO’s offering in this space.

Alan Holland, managing director for Greater London at SEGRO, said: “The high demand for urban warehousing in Greater London and the limited supply of existing stock and development land show little sign of abating.

“Bonnie and Patrick’s appointments allow us to put dedicated resources and expertise into specific areas of London which we believe have strong growth potential.

“They bring the knowledge, experience and relationships required to unlock opportunities for our customers within in this attractive market, and better understand our stakeholders’ priorities so we can be a force for good in our communities beyond the buildings we create and own.”

SEGRO’s Greater London division accounts for 37% of SEGRO’s portfolio and the largest amount of valuable assets within the company.
