SEGRO’s revised plans for a 1.6m sq ft redevelopment on the Slough Trading Estate have been approved.
The plans for the Leigh Road Central Core were originally approved in October 2010, but the latest plans given consent by Slough borough council make use of additional land that has become available for the development.
The 1.6m sq ft scheme will include offices, transport hubs, hotels, restaurants and leisure facilities.
Gareth Osborn, director for the Thames Valley at SEGRO, said: “The revised scheme will provide the world-class business environment that our new and existing customers want.”
Meanwhile, SEGRO has launched a prelet campaign for a 127,000 sq ft office block at 234 Bath Road.
