SEGRO has agreed to speculatively refurbish a 49,500 sq ft grade-A office building at its IQ Winnersh park in Berkshire.
The building, to be known as E2, is due for completion in February 2013. Tenants already at Winnersh include Virgin Media and Jacobs.
Kate Dean, regional director at SEGRO, said: “With grade A office space in the Thames Valley having a vacancy rate of just 8.5%, we have decided that now is a good time to refurbish this building. Availability of grade-A office space at IQ Winnersh is just 7% and we are confident there will be a good level of demand for this space.”
Lambert Smith Hampton and Jones Lang LaSalle are joint letting agents on E2.
