SEGRO signs Heathrow tenants

SEGRO has agreed more than 250,000 sq ft of new lettings across two assets in its Greater London portfolio near Heathrow Airport.

Gourmet entertainment and airline catering company DO & CO has signed a prelet for a 172,000 sq ft building at SEGRO Park Heathrow on a 25-year lease. It is the single largest letting in SEGRO’s Greater London portfolio in the past decade.

The warehouse specialist also signed two lettings, both for ten years, at its North Feltham Trading Estate.

Options, a European events company, will occupy a 30,400 sq ft industrial unit that will serve as its UK headquarters. Uniserve, a UK-based logistics company, has taken 53,000 sq ft.

North Feltham Trading Estate and SEGRO Park Heathrow are both within three miles of the Heathrow Cargo Terminal and are closely connected to major motorways.

Alan Holland, business unit director for Greater London at SEGRO, said: “This is a flying start for 2018 during which we have seen great leasing momentum across our Greater London portfolio, where demand continues to outstrip supply.
