Industrial giant SEGRO has appointed Rich Corbridge as its first chief information officer.
In his new role, Corbridge is tasked with overseeing the delivery of the group’s digital and technology strategy, driving innovation and leveraging digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency processes, customer experience and sustainable growth.
He will report to chief financial officer Soumen Das.
Corbridge has more than 25 years’ experience in diverse CIO roles across public and private sectors. Most recently he was director general for digital at the Department for Work and Pensions, where he had responsibility for technology and data across the department including the technical capability in 850 Job Centres and the management of all payment systems and benefits systems. Prior to his role at the DWP, Corbridge held senior technology and data positions at Boots UK and the Health Service Executive in Ireland.
