Select Property Group and Ask Real Estate have submitted a planning application for a 694-home PRS scheme in the Greengate regeneration area of Salford, Greater Manchester.
The development at Embankment West will operate under Select’s Affinity Living brand, targeting the city’s millennial market with studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom flats.
The building would be split into 12, 25 and 32 storey levels, with a private dining room with views over the city on the 33rd floor.
Ground-floor plans feature large public lounge areas and entertainment space.
Mezzanine level plans include private co-working spaces and a gym. A roof garden, media room, yoga studio and private entertainment space have been proposed for the 13th floor.
Embankment West forms part of Salford Council’s Greengate regeneration scheme, which includes the creation of more than 3m sq ft of residential, retail and commercial space.
If planning permission is granted, it is anticipated work will start in July 2016 with a view for completion in December 2019.
