Seven Capital has secured £60m of forward funding to develop a 125-bedroom hotel in Shoreditch, EC2.
A private Middle Eastern client of Gateley will finance the construction of the seven-storey scheme at 61-67 Great Eastern Street.
The 76,348 sq ft project also incorporates the restoration of the Grade II listed Griffin Pub, the upper levels of which will be converted to flats.
The 5plus Architects-designed scheme occupies a prominent site opposite the Hoxton Hotel.
