SevenCapital hires Birmingham development manager

Birmingham-based developer SevenCapital has recruited Charlie Steele as development manager to grow its city centre residential and mixed-use investment.

Steele joins from Thomas Lister, where he was a senior development consultant. He has nine years of experience, with previous periods at Avison Young and Rapleys, and has advised both public and private organisations.

At SevenCapital, he will be responsible for sourcing prime and central Birmingham schemes of 100 to 1,200 flats and will support the wider team’s efforts across major towns and cities in the Midlands.

Simon Dicken, senior director at SevenCapital, said: “[Steele’s] private and public sector knowledge in Birmingham and its surrounds is invaluable for our growth, as we aim to continue our record of positive investment into our local communities.”

Steele added: “SevenCapital has led the way in terms of residential placemaking and development in Birmingham over the past 10 years, positively transforming and making a valuable contribution to the overall regeneration of many areas.”
