The plans were subsequently amended to raise the affordable housing provision to 40%, in a higher density scheme of up to 29 storeys. The scheme will see the tallest towers in the borough.
SevenCapital will take over delivery and sales of the scheme. Construction is due to begin in the second half of this year. The acquisition follows SevenCapital’s first move in the city, buying the historic Archway Campus on Highgate Hill, N19, from Peabody last year.
The developer’s London business is led by former Berkeley Homes heavyweight Angus Mitchie.
Mitchie said: “Despite the uncertainty during the midst of the pandemic, central London has fast returned to favour during 2021.”
Savills and JLL advised Mark.
