SevenCapital’s housebuilding arm SevenHomes has acquired two former NHS Trust sites in the West Midlands for £30m in schemes.
It will build 130 homes at the former Ross House medical facility in Northfield and part of the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch (pictured).
A 2.4-acre site in Northfield will see 30 two-, three- and four-bedroom family homes with a combination of terrace, detached and townhouse designs at a scheme called the Crescent.
A larger 5.85-acre site adjacent to Wirehill Wood will feature 100 homes, with housing and flats at Wire Croft.
Jonathan Richards, development director at SevenHomes, said: “Both of these sites being acquired from the respective NHS Trusts means vital funds will be ploughed straight back into local important health service, while allowing each area to be given a new lease of life and provide much-needed, quality new homes for first time buyers and families alike.”
Work will now begin on outlining planning applications for the Northfield and Redditch sites.
