Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has appointed John Healey (pictured) as shadow minister for housing and planning, while Jon Trickett has been named shadow secretary of state for communities and local government.
Healey replaces Roberta Blackman-Woods who previously held the shadow housing brief.
Healey, MP for Wentworth and Dearne in South Yorkshire, was minister of state for the Department of Communities and Local Government between June 2007 and May 2010.
After the May 2010 election he became shadow minister for housing, before becoming shadow health secretary until 2011.
Trickett has been labour MP for Hemsworth, West Yorkshire, since 1996. He served as parliamentary private secretary to Peter Mandelson, and was also chair of left-wing think tank Compass.
He then served as parliamentary private secretary to Gordon Brown in the 2008 cabinet re-shuffle, and was made shadow minister for the Cabinet Office in 2011.
Since October he has been shadow minister without portfolio and deputy party chair.
