Shaftesbury’s NAV per share up 21.9%

Shaftesbury reported a 21.9% increase in net asset value per share in the year to the end of September.

The value of its portfolio totalled £3.13bn, a rise of £466.6m on the year. Net property income rose by 6.3% to reach £78.8m.

About 70% of Shaftesbury’s rental income comes from properties in the West End. The company said demand was outstripping supply and that vacancy levels were at record lows.
