Brookfield has replaced the entire Songbird board with three of its executives following the takeover of the Canary Wharf business by Brookfield and the Qatar Investment Authority.
Richard Clark, Jon Haick and Brian Kingston join with immediate effect.
They will guide the company to delisting following the £2.6bn unconditional bid.
The offer had initially been resisted by Songbird as it felt it undervalued the company, but was accepted after pressure from other shareholders.
Richard Clark is the chief executive and global head of real estate at Brookfield, Jon Haick is the chief executive of Brookfield Europe and Brian Kingston is the chief investment office of the Brookfield Real Estate Group.
Those who resigned from the board were the independent chairman of Songbird, David Pritchard, John Botts, Peter Harned, Jonathan Lane, Sam Levinson, Alex Midgen, Brian Niles, and David P. O’Connor.
