Shares in Grafton Group fell after the builders’ merchant warned that business had slowed both before and after the referendum.
Demand in the UK merchanting business was relatively flat in July and August, and markets remained very price competitive, the company said.
Grafton owns Buildbase, Plumco and Selco.
