More and more people are living on the UK’s waterways, taking advantage of costs that are much lower than on terra firma.
However, with all the permanent moorings in London now taken, some 1,615 houseboat inhabitants are becoming continuous cruisers.
That figure is up 153% from 638 in 2012.
