Residential developer Sheen Lane Developments has bought an office-to-flats scheme in Sussex.

The London-based company has paid £14.3m to acquire Syward Place in Chertsey from CCLA Investment Management. CCLA bought the site in 2013 for £12.4m from Aberdeen Asset Management.

The three-storey office has planning consent to be redeveloped as a residential building comprising 127 for-sale flats.

Sheen Lane was advised by Knight Frank. CCLA was advised by JLL.
