Sheffield City Council is marketing two city centre sites, which form the final phase of the £470m regeneration masterplan.
The sites, extending to 0.4 acres and 0.5 acres, are adjacent to the new 1.5-acre Pound’s Park, which is scheduled to open to the public in late 2022. The council wants proposals to provide “active ground-floor frontages” facing onto the public realm, with office, hotel or residential on the upper floors.
Mazher Iqbal, councillor and co-chair of transport, regen and climate policy committee at Sheffield City Council, said: “These two new sites within the scheme are in a prime location and any developers interested will need to share our strong ambition to deliver developments of exceptional quality.”
CBRE’s UK development advisory team has been appointed to market the opportunity.
