Sheffield City Council has rubberstamped its local plan, paving the way for investment and development across the the city.
The plan brings together proposals around housing, environment, development, economic growth and transport, setting out how and where the city will develop over the next 15-20 years.
Terry Fox, leader of Sheffield City Council, said the plan would enable more than 35,000 new homes to be built and put sustainability and affordability at the heart of development.
