Shelley Sandzer appointed to sell failed Food & Drink Group’s sites
Leisure agency Shelley Sandzer has been appointed by BDO Stoy Hayward to sell the remaining 12 sites operated by the Food & Drink Group, which went into administration earlier this month.
The sites include Jamie’s Bar on Charlotte Street, W1, a number of Puzzle bars located primarily in the City and the West End, a Henry J Beans site in Bristol and the Breakfast Club in Birmingham.
The appointment follows on from the sale of 17 sites owned by Food & Drink Group to Mainpaint, a new company headed up by Nick Tamblyn.
Shelley Sandzer’s Nick Weir said: “We believe there will be considerable interest in the acquisition of the remaining properties as it is a rare opportunity to acquire key restaurants and bars in good trading locations.
“This is particularly the case in London where licensed premises remain hard to come by.”
