Sheridan Estates plans 15,328 sq m speculative office scheme in Cardiff

Sheridan Estates, backed by Cardiff Bay Development Corporation, has submitted an outline planning application to Cardiff County Council for a £22m speculative office building near the city centre.

The proposed 15,328 sq m (165,000 sq ft) scheme will stand at the head of Bute Avenue in the Bute Square business district. Bute Avenue, due for completion in 1999, will connect the city centre with the waterfront.

Sheridan director Robin Wills said that, on this occasion, parent company NIG Sheridan Estates would not be funding the project. Wills expects the development to be completed in Spring 1999.
