Shoe fits for Foot Locker at Bullring

Sports shoe specialist Foot Locker’s Locker Room concept is to make its regional debut at Hammerson’s 1.2m sq ft Bullring shopping centre in Birmingham.

Foot Locker is taking the 6,170 sq ft former Clinton Cards store on the ground floor of the mall. It has agreed a 10-year lease at an annual rent of £490,000. The store will be refurbished and is due to open in March.

Foot Locker opened its first European Locker Room store with Hammerson at its Brent Cross shopping centre in London last November. The new concept concentrates on premium performance footwear such as Nike and other brands.

Brasier Freeth advised Foot Locker; BWD Property Consultants and Cushman & Wakefield are letting agents at Bullring.
