Allied London has confirmed that Shoosmiths law firm will become the second tenant to occupy the XYZ building in Spinningfields, as revealed by Estates Gazette.
Shoosmiths will take around 32,000 sq ft of customisable space, joining Global Radio at the building, formerly known as the Cotton Building.
Partner Vaqas Farooq said: “We love being in Spinningfields and we now need to move forward in Manchester. We were looking for a work environment that is efficient but fits with our culture as a modern, professional service business embodying new work practice principles.”
Allied chief executive Michael Ingall said: “We have been accommodating Shoosmiths for more than three years in various Allied London locations within Spinningfields and having reached a medium-sized business, Shoosmiths has a real opportunity to shape that business through its workspace.”
Savills advised Shoosmiths, OBI Property acted for Allied London.
