A 410,000 sq ft shopping mall opens in Newcastle city centre today.
St Andrew’s Way is the culmination of a £170m redevelopment of Eldon Square shopping centre. It will include a four-storey Debenhams and 25 other shops. All mall units are pre-let although a couple of external frontage shops are vacant.
The mall increases Eldon Square’s size to 1.3m sq ft.Capital Shopping Centres and Newcastle City Council are co-owners of Eldon Square.
