Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy has drafted proposals to expand its wind turbine manufacturing facilities at Alexandra Dock, located two miles east of Kingston upon Hull city centre.
The Spanish-German engineer has proposed to double its existing production hub by constructing a 60,837 sq ft building, designed by Frank Shaw Associates, to support continued output demands and a small building for staff.
The scheme is targeting a BREEAM Very Good rating.
