Signa has appointed a new chair to replace René Benko.
Shareholders in the co-owner of Selfridges in the UK and New York’s Chrysler Building toppled its chair and founder earlier this week, with Benko agreeing to step down yesterday.
German turnaround specialist Arndt Geiwitz has now replaced Benko as chair of the real estate investor, which has a €27bn property portfolio.
