Simply Be is to open its first and only out-of-town store at British Land’s 410,000 sq ft Teesside shopping park in Stockton-on-Tees.
The 5,800 sq ft store is part of the online and mail order brand’s seven-strong multichannel trial.
The park has also recently seen the opening of a 17,700 sq ft H&M store and a 6,000 sq ft extension to the Marks & Spencer store.
John Maddison, Asset Manager for Teesside Shopping Park, said: “The scheme’s strong trading profile makes it an obvious choice for pilot stores, and we are always delighted to work with potential new entrants to the out-of-town market.
“As well as broadening the retail mix and further strengthening the fashion offer at the park, we have delivered a new brand not currently represented anywhere else in the UK, let alone the region.”
Wilkinson Williams acted for British Land; Simply Be was represented by GL Hearn.
