Sinking Glasgow tower shutdown forced

The £10m Glasgow tower at the science centre on the Clyde has been forced to close for at least three months because it is sinking.

The 110m (360ft) tower, the only one which turns through 360 degrees, has sunk 15mm, engineers have discovered.

It is the latest millennium attraction to have suffered teething problems.
