Hotels tycoon Sir Rocco Forte enjoyed a bumper year as the relative weakness of sterling boosted his overseas sales.
Rocco Forte Hotels, which owns Brown’s in London and the Balmoral in Edinburgh — as well as properties in Russia, Italy and Germany — paid a £3m dividend in the year to April, of which £1.6m went to directors.
Sales were up £8m to £206m, while pre-tax profits increased 56% to £11.9m, according to accounts filed at Companies House.
