Skanska links with Vasakronan

Swedish property company Skansa has sold five investment properties and a development project to state-owned company Vasakronan for Skr2.5bn.

Skanska is claiming a SKr1bn profit on the deal. Payment is being made in cash and the contribution of a 50% ownership of a new company between the two parties to develop housing and commercial property in Vasterjarva in northern Stockholm. The investment properties are Jarnplaten 29 in Stockholm; Lilla Bommen in Goeteborg; Vallgraven 16, Goeteborg; and Siruis 1 and 2 in Malmo which total around 56,000m2.
