Korean beauty retailer Skin Cupid has secured a deal with landlord Soho Estates to open its first UK flagship store at Ilona Rose House, Charing Cross Road, W1.
The beauty retailer has signed for a circa 3,000 sq ft store on a 10-year lease at the mixed-use development.
Spanning more than 300,000 sq ft, Ilona Rose House is Soho Estates’ largest mixed-use development to date and is the site of the former Foyles Bookshop.
Other tenants at Ilona Rose include Skyskanner, Dawn Capital and Cubo, and it is the European post-production headquarters for Warner Bros.
Philip Thompson, director at Soho Estates, said: “Soho is all about energy, creativity, and community – Skin Cupid fits right in. Skin Cupid is an energetic and ambitious brand with a passionate following, and we’re thrilled to welcome them to Ilona Rose House. Their arrival is a great example of the kind of curated retail that helps keep Soho vibrant and relevant and we’re excited to see what’s next for them in this iconic location.”
Skin Cupid was found in 2020 and has exclusive partnerships with some of Korea’s most popular brands, including Anua, Zeroid, S.Nature, Nacific and Kundal.
Melody Yuan, founder and chief executive officer at Skin Cupid, said: “It’s a meaningful chapter in our journey and one we’re proud to mark at Ilona Rose House. We believe the future of beauty retail is experiential, and this store brings that vision to life in a way that feels true to our brand and community.”
