Crawley Borough Council has approved Slough Estates International’s outline plans for a purpose-built facility for Thales UK.
The 500,000 sq ft premises are to be built for the defence and electronics specialist at Manor Royal in Crawley, West Sussex.
The site will include three 320,000 sq ft office buildings and a 180,000 sq ft warehouse/research & development facility.
A series of highways improvements will be implemented as part of the development for which Slough Estates is contributing £600,000.
Work is due to commence on site in early 2006.
