Slough Estates hopes to receive planning permission for two enormous business parks at Cambridge and Farnborough, this autumn.
The developments will form the bulk of the UK’s largest industrial property developer’s 1.2m sq m (12.92m sq ft), £1bn development programme over seven years.
Slough announced interim pretax profits up from £60.7m to £65.8m.
