Cities with small populations are offering workers in the digital economy the highest quality of life, according to a new report from Savills.
Austin, Texas and San Francisco, California in the US and Dublin in Ireland rank highly in Savills’ top Tech Cities.
The report found that shorter commutes, easier access to amenities, lower levels of crime and pollution and a better work/life balance allow inhabitants to experience the urban lifestyle of a larger city with all the benefits of a smaller, more reachable environment.
Austin was named as the city with the highest quality of life followed by San Francisco, Berlin in Germany, Dublin, Singapore, New York, London, Tel Aviv in Israel, Hong Kong, Stockholm in Sweden, Mumbai in India and Seoul, South Korea.
