The boss of Centrica’s “smart home” technology business is to leave the company after it slashed revenue ambitions for its key growth division by more than 80 per cent.
Claire Miles, 46, has run Connected Home since the start of last year, selling products such as internet-connected thermostats and cameras. She had the task of pursuing a target of £1 billion of revenues by 2022 and said this year that the group was “super-happy with our growth rate”.
