US chain Smashburger is to open its first restaurant in Scotland at KKR and Quadrant Estates’ Sauchiehall Building in Glasgow.
It will take a 15-year lease on a 4,000 sq ft restaurant in the building, part of the Sauchiehall Centre’s refurbishment, which is due to complete by the end of the year.
It will be Smashburger’s third restaurant in the UK; the chain plans to open 35 more nationwide.
