SME developer joins Homes England delivery panel

Homes England has appointed family-run developer PJ Livesey Group as one of its delivery partners.

The appointment means the firm now has the opportunity to compete with other developers to bid for the agency’s land.

Managing director Georgina Lynch said: “Our appointment as a Homes England delivery partner not only recognises how far we have come but will open up new opportunities to bring our brand of sustainable development to more locations across the UK.

“The challenges facing SMEs and specialist developers are well documented. It is therefore so important for major public sector bodies like Homes England to recognise that diversity in homebuilding is essential for both the quality and amount of homes delivered to meet national targets.”

The developer said the appointment to the panel was “another step in a period of transformation for the company”.

The group has also recently been appointed by the Greater Manchester Pension Fund to design and deliver a new future for the Chorlton shopping centre site in south Manchester. Plans for the redevelopment will be submitted later this year.
