Rural chartered surveyor Smiths Gore is to merge with West Country firm Stratton & Holborow.
The two companies will unite under the Smiths Gore brand and include 83 partners and 448 staff in total. It will comprise 29 offices, ranging from Fochabers in the north west of Scotland to Truro in Cornwall. The firm’s headquarters will be in Peterborough.
The firm will provide agency, consultancy and management services.
Simon Knight and Andrew Harle will remain as senior partner as managing partner respectively.
Knight said: “We are looking forward to capitalising on Stratton & Holborow’s stronghold in the South West, which together with our national brand, will offer a more wide ranging service to all of our clients.”
