Snap, the maker of the Snapchat messaging app, is making London its international HQ, and will pay UK taxes on its sales there and in various markets outside the US.
Snap’s London office opened in 2015, and the number of staff there has expanded to 75 from six. The company is opening additional space close by in Soho and plans to add further staff.
Snap cited the country’s strong creative industries as the reason for its choice.
