The opening of Bath’s new spa complex has been delayed yet again.
It was originally meant to open eight months ago. The formal reopening should have taken place on Thursday.
But construction has been dogged by delays and recriminations over issues ranging from an archaeological dig to the rights of residence of a pair of nesting ducks.
Project managers refused to commit themselves to a final deadline except to say it would be open to customers “within weeks rather than months”.
