Knight Frank’s Josh Braid has completed the South Downs Way Challenge for charity while pulling a 12kg car tyre behind him.
Walking more than 170km in four days – the equivalent of four marathons, Braid raised over £2,000 for Brighton-based children’s charity Rockinghorse, which supports sick and disadvantaged children in Sussex. He completed the challenge with his wife, Francesca, who was raising money for Street Vet, a charity delivering free veterinary care to the pets of homelessness people across the UK.

LandAid’s virtual 10k off to a flying start
LandAid’s 10k virtual summer run has so far raised £75k to help end youth homelessness in the UK.
This year’s fastest 10k was achieved by Sullivan Gardner of Paramount Interiors in 38:03 minutes, while LandAid’s most dedicated was Phillip Jones of Unibail Rodamco-Westfield, who walked 26km from his home to his office.
LandAid’s Paul Morrish said: ‘LandAid has been astounded by the support and enthusiasm of the real estate industry over the last year and beyond. Not only have they stood up to provide support to local youth homelessness charities through the pandemic, but they also have raised vital funds by running 10k for LandAid.
