Softcat completes Manchester move to Booking.com HQ

FTSE 250-listed IT firm Softcat has finalised its move to the sixth floor of Manchester’s Goods Yard.

Earlier this month, Estates Gazette reported that the firm will occupy 35,391 sq ft fully fitted office space within Booking.com headquarters.

Manchester Goods Yard is located at the heart of the Enterprise City neighbourhood, which has undergone extensive regeneration in recent years and is the city’s leading digital and creative hub. The campus is also home to Cloud Imperium Games as well as food and beverage operators including Fenix and Caravan.

Adam Robson, director at Lambert Smith Hampton which advised Softcat, said: “Softcat’s continuing commitment to Manchester highlights the region’s attraction to many large corporates; with its diverse labour pool and excellent transport infrastructure, making it a prime North-West destination to do business.”

The assignor was advised by OBI.
