Somerset business park gets green light

Plans for a £30m 330,000 sq ft North Somerset business park have been given the green light.

Rok Development, the commercial development arm of South West-based listed concern Rok Plc, will develop the scheme near Clevedon.

The 20-acre site is at Kenn Road, close to junction 20 of the M5 and opposite Kenn Business Park.

Simon Tothill, director of Rok Development’s Bristol office, said: “We look forward to providing a range of high quality accommodation for local businesses that want to expand and others that are planning to locate to North Somerset.”

The park will be delivered in phases over the next three to five years.

Tothill said details of the individual buildings would be dealt with by the submission of reserved matters applications to the council.
